Being a wedding photographer taught me to stay calm under pressure. Success meant much more than showing up and taking pretty pictures of my clients, it meant becoming the project manager of their photography experience. Working with clients in advance, I addressed their goals so that by the time the day arrived I had already laid out the necessary steps to achieve their vision. 

I think on my toes, and enjoy the thrill of landing on my feet. Here’s a secret: my sharpest tool is clear communication. Prior learnings as a professional creative have filled my sails, so that navigating UX has felt as comfortable as swimming in familiar waters.
